Episode #45 Change Happens: Moving from Resistance to Embrace

Change Happens!

It may be one of the only things that all humans actually agree upon nowadays.

We are all faced with change inside and out in our lives.  Some of this is small and we don’t think much about it and some of it causes us to resist, run, hide and ignore.

Whatever you are resisting; it is not going to go away until you embrace it!  It will just keep coming back in some way shape or another.

It will keep you awake, it will mask itself as anxiety, it will cause you outburst of emotions...it won't go away.

Resistance is ultimately fear:

-A fear of change

-A fear of death (a death of something...a relationship, a habit, a job, an aspect of yourself)

-A fear of the unknown

-A fear of how powerful you are


I want to honor that sometimes change is super uncomfortable and we hide from and resist it; I am raising my hand right here and now for you all to see!



However, resistance is just ignoring or denying the feeling of something that needs to be moved through you.

So often we aren’t really aware that we are in resistance mode.  

So how can you tell if you are there?  Are you in resistance?

-Are you ignoring your feelings

-Are you distracting yourself 

-Are you denying something that is directly in front of you.


So back to the fact that change is a part of life and it will happen, whether we kick, scream and drag our feet or we give in, trust, embrace and move through.

Can you stop and bring awareness to the resistance?
